JOAN AS POLICEWOMAN is arguably one of todays most respected artists who has yet to go multiplatinum and win Grammys. Her music is at once inspiring and contemplative, we've listened to Eternal Flame and parts of it easily over 500 times as a result of living with it through post-production on this video and we still haven't tired of the song.

The challenge was to make a creative and unique a low-fi music video for MTV Europe in advance of the release of the Eternal Flame singe in the U.K. and Europe. The music video was prepped, shot, posted, and delivered within Recording artist Joan Wasser and Academy Award nominated director Leah Meyerhoff developed the concept and imagery for this music video. The music video was shot on Super 16mm film by Leah's friend and fellow NYU MFA candidate, Lyle Vincent. Chase Brock worked with Leah to choreograph and cast the dancers. Katy Rusch designed the wonderful "set" for installation on the beach at Coney Island, where we shot the video.
